When Does the Rust Item Store Update?
The Rust Item Store refreshes once a week, on Thursday evening, UK time. A new set of limited-time skins goes on sale and the previous week's skins leave the store. After that, the only way to get them is from other players on the Steam Community Market.

Rust sells cosmetic skins in two places inside Steam. Some items are permanent and can be bought at any time. The ones most players watch are the weekly skins: a fresh batch, usually around a dozen, that is only on sale for a limited time. Steam's own item data marks these with a time-limited store tag, which is how WipeDay detects a new batch automatically.
Day and time. The refresh happens on Thursday. Facepunch does not publish an exact minute, and it moves a little from week to week, but new skins consistently appear on Thursday evening UK time. If you are in Turkey or elsewhere in Europe that is Thursday night; in the Americas it is Thursday afternoon. On the first Thursday of the month the refresh lands on the same day as the monthly force wipe.
How long a skin stays. A weekly skin is normally on sale for about a week, until the next Thursday refresh replaces it. There is no official promise that a weekly skin will return to the store later, so if you want one at the store price, the safest time to buy is before the next refresh.
After it leaves. Once a weekly skin is gone from the store, the supply is fixed to whatever players already bought. Most of these skins can then be bought and sold between players on the Steam Community Market, where the price is set by supply and demand rather than by Facepunch. A few items cannot be sold on the market at all. The market price can end up higher or lower than the original store price, and it often moves most in the first weeks after a skin leaves the store.
Calling it on WipeDay. That question is what the Rust Item Store game on WipeDay is built around. Each week, before Thursday 00:00 Turkey time, players call LONG if they think a skin's market price 30 days after it leaves the store will be higher than on the day it left, or SHORT if they think it will be lower or flat. It is a free community game: no real money, no betting and no prizes, and nothing on it is investment advice.
